Congrats to the Smithfield Foods workers in Tar Heel, NC
This weekend’s walkout at the Smithfield Foods plant in Tar Heel, NC ended in victory. The company ended the walkout by agreeing to reinstate all unfairly fired workers, and to not pursue any retaliation against those workers who walked out in solidarity. More info on the agreement here.
