The corporitization of Second Life continues
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — Consumer electronics retailer Circuit City said Friday it is opening up a virtual store in the three-dimensional online world of Second Life.The retailer said the virtual store will carry 3-D versions of products available in real Circuit City stores that customers will be able to browse. They’ll also be able to place orders for real items to be delivered to their home.

First I heard IBM was going to invade Second Life now we hear of Circuit City taking it to the next level. I’m telling you this will be the collapse of Second Life sooner or later. All you need is for Rupert Murdoch to come in and just buy Linden Labs outright. All I can suggest is if the commercialization of Second Life is to continue then somebody better start up Adbusters or The Consumerist on Second Life! I still can’t even run the damn program with my outdated graphics card.
