Though “Beat Up Anita Sarkeesian,” as the game was called, was taken down from NewGrounds, a games and animation open-submissions site, 24 hours after being posted, it’s only the latest in a series of online attacks directed at Sarkeesian since she established a Kickstarter fund for a project exploring female representation in video games. Sarkeesian’s project has raised more than $158,000 since being announced in May.

The genius behind the “game” is a 25 year old Canadian named Ben Spurr. I sure bet he feels like a man going after Ms. Sarkessian. This shows us how tough you are! There is such a thing as freedom of speech and just because you don’t like something doesn’t give you the right to bully that person.
For example, I hate conservatism but I don’t go around bullying and harassing people like Dana Loesch, Ann Coulter or Michelle Malkin. I don’t like them as people, but they have a right to say what they want to. I may insult them, but that’s different from the stuff I see being done to this female blogger here.
