Ted Turner needs a reality check

“To drop out of that league, that was hard to do,” Turner said. “I’ve had the experience of being on top and riding the roller coaster down again, nearly to the bottom. You know, if you economize and don’t buy new airplanes or long-range jets, or that sort of thing, you can get by on a billion or two.”

Ted Turner has done a lot of good things. He’s contributed to a lot of good causes. However, I think that he’s a little out of touch with the rest of the country. So he “dropped out of that league,” he fails to realize that he is in a far better position than 90% of this country. I realize that once you’ve been at that high of a level it is hard to come back down, but that is where everyone else is. Welcome back Ted.
